Our websites have a distinctive appearance, intuitive navigation and are fully optimised for search engines. They are not clones of anyone else's sites – they are each designed to reflect the personality or brand requirements of our client.
Dynamic sites are built using Joomla, the world’s most popular open source CMS (content management system). Joomla is supported with hundreds of third-party plug-ins providing blogs, newsletters, ecommerce and many other enhancements.
This site is built on Joomla, naturally using a design template of our own creation.
Joomla is not the only CMS, it's just the one we have chosen to adopt. It is rare to receive a brief that doesn't involve some sort of backend delivery requirement so it's often difficult to find a reason NOT to use Joomla. Once the framework is in place, sites can be updated and managed with (relative) ease by their owners.
Even if you don't fully exploit the potential of Joomla, there is no performance penalty for adopting the framework. It's great if you want a fledgling site but you're not quite yet ready to add the bells and whistles.
